Product Description

The working principle of the water softener is mainly based on ion exchange technology. When raw water containing hardness ions passes through the resin layer in the water softener, calcium (Ca² +), magnesium (Mg² +) ions in the water are adsorbed by the resin and release an equal amount of sodium (Na² +) ions, thereby achieving the softening of hard water. When the adsorption of calcium and magnesium ions by the resin reaches a certain saturation, the water softener will automatically regenerate the resin according to the predetermined procedure, and use a higher concentration of sodium chloride solution (brine) through the resin to restore the failed resin to sodium resin.
