The installation process of the dual-core diaphragm pump requires meticulous and rigorous operation to ensure that it can operate stably and efficiently. The following is a detailed installation guide:
Preparation before installation
• Environmental assessment: Ensure that the installation site is flat, well ventilated, and free of flammable and explosive substances.
• Safety preparation: Prepare necessary safety equipment, such as safety helmets, protective glasses, gloves, etc., and comply with relevant safety operating procedures.
• Inspect equipment: Check whether the dual-core diaphragm pump body, motor, drive device and accessories (such as suction port filter, discharge port valve) are intact and intact, and whether the fasteners are loose. Check whether the product model and specifications meet the design requirements and site conditions.
• Read the instructions: Read the product instructions and installation manual in detail to understand the installation steps, precautions and special requirements, and ensure that the installation process meets the manufacturer's recommendations.
Choose a suitable installation location
• Easy to operate and maintain: Ensure that the pump body is stable and easy to operate and maintain later.
• Avoid vibration: The selected location should avoid the impact of pump body vibration on other equipment.
• Consider self-priming ability: Fully consider the self-priming ability of the diaphragm pump to avoid self-priming problems. Generally speaking, the pump should be installed vertically and in the positive vertical direction.
Install the pump body and connect the pipes
• Install the pump body: Install the pump body on the prepared base, use a level to adjust the pump body to a horizontal state, and tighten the anchor bolts. Pay attention to check whether the shock-absorbing pad between the pump body and the base is installed in place.
• Connect the pipes: According to the flow chart, connect the suction pipe, discharge pipe and necessary bypass pipes, vent pipes, etc. in sequence. Ensure that the pipe connection is tight and leak-free, and consider the compensation measures for thermal expansion of the pipe. Use appropriate pipe clamps or brackets to fix the pipes to prevent the pipes from being too heavy and causing uneven force on the pump body.
Electrical connection and lubrication
• Electrical connection: According to the motor nameplate parameters, select appropriate cables and junction boxes for electrical connection. Ensure that the electrical wiring is correct and the motor is well grounded.
• Lubrication: Lubricate the transmission parts of the pump as needed.
Debugging and inspection
• Check the coaxiality: Check and adjust the coaxiality of the coupling or drive device to ensure smooth operation.
• Manually rotate the pump shaft: Before turning on the power, manually rotate the pump shaft for a few turns to check if there is any obstruction and ensure that there is no foreign matter in the pump.
• Start and observe: First start the pump under no-load condition to observe whether the motor direction is correct, whether the operation is stable, and whether there is any abnormal sound. Check whether the pump body and pipeline are leaking.
• Loading and adjustment: Gradually load to the design working conditions to observe whether the pump flow, pressure and other parameters meet the design requirements. Pay attention to monitoring the temperature, vibration and noise of the pump body and make timely adjustments.
• Recording and optimization: Record key data, debugging results and problems found during the installation process to provide reference for subsequent operation and maintenance. According to the debugging results, make necessary adjustments to the pump's suction pressure, discharge pressure, flow, etc. to ensure that the pump is running in the best condition. At the same time, optimize the pipeline layout to reduce pressure loss.
